It was lovely to see some of you at the Welsh National Championships this past weekend. I hope those that were there enjoyed the event.
I wanted to give a head’s up to the events coming up this year as well as the latest on the Vet 4 Nations which is progressing well from an organisation perspective.
Vet 4 Nations, 12th April, Cardiff Academy of Fencing
- We have full teams for all weapons which is great news
- In all but Women’s Epee we have teams of 4
- If you are a female epeeist and want to join the team do let me know
- The updated teams are as follows:

- BVF Age Groups, 22/23 March – Harvey Hadden Sports Village, Nottingham (entries now open)
- BVF Nationals, 9/10/11 May – Manchester Fencing Centre (entries open post BVF Age Groups)
- Cardiff Vet Open, 7/8 June – Cardiff Academy of Fencing (entries open on Sport 80)
- Welsh Vet National Championships, 6/7 September – Cardiff Academy of Fencing
- Vet Winton Cup, 20/21 September – Lilleshall National Sports Centre – selection date 21st June (post Cardiff Vet Open)
